Finishing the reed pan
After the air holes are done, I do all 1.5 mm holes for the thread of the 2 MG screws to hold the reed aluminum frames; maple is tough and can be treated like soft metal.

Remember hole for a guide pin on ”16 - Action board 2”? It gets a piece of Swedish grill skewer and then the reed pan is glued onto it. We are getting there!

Drilling holes in reed pan, for the 2MG screws for the reeds.

Cut a thread and test. I don’t care that it is wood – maple is
like plastic and the screw is long, OK?

This is what we needed the hole made on
”16 - Action board 2” for.

Sandwich anyone? Finally gluing the the reed pan onto the
base plate.
