The raw bushing board is screwed onto the end plate, the plate’s outline is traced and the board jigsawed in shape.
The piano repairman's woven felt is now cut in 4 mm wide strips, at 45 degrees. The strips are cut in suitable lengths and glued in the bushing board from the backside.
