After a break (making the new reed pans) and a brief side-track (one week) to build the tuning bellows, attention is at the reed frames:
Can you spot the error? (Or the “not-so-good”-detail).
The frames were laser-cut after a my design (and the CAD-conversion by my good mate Richard in the UK). 2 mm brass.
Here is a se I need (two more sizes, larger, were made)
There is some processing and fitting to do: an angle should be added to the edges - to make them fit into the dove tail tracks, individually, I can see - the reed track router does not make identical tracks...
